We will do this by forming quality personal relationships, empowering our patients with knowledge and motivation and providing the highest quality dental care that we are capable of providing.

Dr. Hanlon considers it her professional responsibility to be a continuous student of dentistry. Her regular attendance at dental education courses ensures that she is knowledgeable in all phases of dentistry and keeps her current with the rapid innovations in her field.

We are irreversibly committed to continually improving our skills and knowledge.  This allows us to deliver the highest quality comprehensive dental care and services to our family of patients.  We believe that individuals who understand the role that dental health plays in their total wellness will choose to seek optimal dental health.  Therefore, the education and motivation of our patients will be of utmost importance in our practice.  We will form a partnership with our patients where, together, we will maximize comfort, functionality, health and appearance of their teeth. 

 

Policies
Regarding Dental Insurance: We believe that our country is moving toward a two-tiered system. On one hand will be the managed-care or insurance driven system. This system allows a third party to be involved in the decision on what care is to be rendered as well as the payment of that care. Because of our firm belief in the patient's freedom to choose, this practice does not participate in any managed-care programs.

The other system will be private care and that is what this practice will provide. Using this system, the patient and the dentist decide upon the best course of treatment even though the patient may receive some financial assistance from an insurance entity.

In this, the private care practice, the patient is responsible for all charges incurred regardless of what the insurance company or other third party agrees to pay. Dr. Hanlon does not diagnose, render treatment or establish fees according to any insurance table of allowance. Our office fees are based on the care, skill and judgment of the professionals delivering the services, and on the costs of operating a dental practice dedicated to excellence.

Regarding Financial Considerations: It is our strong belief that the patients who come to this office want and deserve the finest dental care available. To enable our patients to achieve their desire for optimum dental health, a financial policy must exist.

It is the policy of this practice to discuss fees with our patients prior to beginning treatment. It has been our experience that this discussion prevents misunderstandings and reduces the "financial anxiety" which often accompanies any type of health care.

We welcome your personal check or cash, and also accept MasterCard and Visa. Payment will be expected at the time services are rendered. We are not in a position to extend credit on any account. For our patients who require extended credit terms to achieve their oral health goals, we offer CareCredit. This is a credit plan that allows payment over an extended period of time. Please ask for additional details.

We feel that dental insurance can be a great benefit. We will do everything within our power to help you receive every benefit dollar to which you are entitled. Please keep in mind, the full responsibility for payment of services rendered will always lie with you.

We can only be successful in our vision if we are in true partnership with our patients. As a result of this personal relationship, our patients will achieve the highest level of oral health in accordance with their needs and values.
